Veterans Memorial Park has yet to receive a Memorial for the Korean War.

A local Chapter of the Korean War Veterans Association has been formed to undertake the task of erecting a Korean War Monument in Veterans Memorial Park. Monthly meetings are held on the third Saturday of the month, 9 AM at American Legion 240. 8666 Gulf Beach Highway.
